Rye Harbour Sailing Club is recognised by the RYA as a shorebased training establishment authorised to carry out the following courses:

Diesel Engine
Marine Short Range Certificate
First Aid
Basic Navigation and Safety
Day Skipper Theory
Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster® Theory

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE

The Club is authorised to carry out ICC tests on members own boats and we can test for: - Sail, Inland and Coastal. If the certificate is to be valid for Inland Waters then a CEVNI test must be undertaken and passed. Fees for Members: ICC £30, CEVNI £20.

RNLI SEA SAFETY

The Club recommends that cruisers register with the Maritime Coastguard Agency using Form CG66. Members are encouraged to take advantage of the free RNLI service Sea Check. Derek Phillips is a Lifeboat Sea Safety Officer.
